Established in 1991 as the Canadian Business English Institute (CBEI), the school was acquired by St Giles International in late 2006. It has since undergone complete refurbishment and reorganisation, to offer courses and facilities in line with those of the other Colleges in the St Giles International group.
The school is relatively small, with around 100-150 students year-round, and offers a friendly and welcoming international environment in which to study. Our nationality mix is excellent, meaning that you will be sure to make friends with students from other countries, with whom you can practise your English outside of class, while enjoying our varied and exciting social programme.

This city quite literally has it all, with a cosmopolitan shopping scene, superb restaurants, exciting nightlife and beautiful beaches, as well as a wide range of sports and leisure facilities, afforded by Vancouver's idyllic seafront location, at the foot of the mountains. Our climate is mild, both in summer (25-28°c) and in winter (3-10°c).
Accredited by Languages Canada, and a member of Canadian Educational Centres Network, our new centre is located in the heart of the city, just moments from the shopping and entertainment hub of Robson Street, the waterfront and seabus to North Vancouver, and a 10-minute walk from Stanley Park and Vancouver's beautiful beaches.

We organise regular activities to help you experience all that Vancouver has to offer with your new friends from the school.
Regular activities include:

- Regular "TGIF" at the local pub
- Hockey, football and baseball games
- Day trips to Victoria, Seattle and Whistler ski resort
